About Smart Trigger and Flows Team:

Our Campaign Automation team (also known as ST and Flows team) is the central unit for Campaigns at MoEngage. Tasked with developing a system capable of processing billions of different campaign events, our team ensures a high performance, scalable, and reliable real-time event solution.

Here are some challenging and exciting projects that we're currently endeavoring:

• Constructing Flows 2.0 from scratch with the latest technologies,

• Scaling our current event processing to 3x with enhanced monitoring systems,

• Upgrading SLA's from 99% to 99.99% to affirm our place as a top-tier product in the Customer Engagement realm.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Cultivate expansive thinking, yet maintain focus and execute with a step-by-step approach,

• Code with scale, high availability, and cost-efficiency in mind,

• Demonstrate learning agility and adopt effective tech processes and tools,

• Take responsibility for problem statements and solutions built around them,

• Be flexible to work on a diverse tech stack.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of verifiable experience in Java and distributed systems,

• Proficient with Java, related technologies, and frameworks,

• Experienced with at least one cloud computing infrastructure (GCP / Azure / AWS),

• Tech Stack knowledge: Java, Flink, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, ScyllaDB, AWS (EC2, SQS, S3), K8s, Linux,

• Awareness of Secure Development processes, practices, Information Security concepts, and Best Practices.

• Knowledge of streaming systems is appreciated.

• Experience with AI projects is highly appreciated.

• Familiarity with OLAP technologies is a plus.
