Senior Software Engineer-Full Stack (React + NodeJS)

As a Software Developer at Optym, you will be responsible for developing interactive and user-friendly applications using the latest frameworks. You will be involved in delivering across the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment, testing, release, and support. Collaborating with product owners and designers, you will translate product requirements and designs into reality. Your role will also include owning and developing feature sets that involve responsive UIs and restful services to ensure a seamless user experience. You will interact with product, engineering, and business teams across geographies to leverage their expertise and contribute efficiently. Ensuring that all components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain will be a key part of your responsibilities. Continuously optimizing and improving application performance, you will proactively acquire knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile technologies to implement them and educate teams to increase the effectiveness of technology solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have a B.Tech/B.S. or M.Tech/M.S. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with 3 to 7 years of experience. Mandatory skills include 3+ years of experience in designing and building production-level web applications, programming knowledge in Javascript, Typescript, NodeJs, mastery of standard frontend technologies like modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, experience with backend development frameworks like ExpressJs, NestJs, or equivalent, and working knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and development best practices. Desirable skills include proficiency in ES6/7, Node, package management/webpack/parcel, full stack understanding of web/API/database development concepts and patterns, experience in MUI and any other styling library, excitement about the latest trends in application design, and experience in devops would be a plus.
