About The Role As part of a rapidly expanding team at Rippling, you will join a 700+ member engineering team that deploys code multiple times daily. This position is within the Developer Experience team, responsible for managing fundamental systems like CI/CD, development environments, and staging/demo environments. It is a pivotal role with high impact and visibility, directly influencing Rippling's shipping velocity. What You'll Do - Develop high-quality and dependable software using Python, Go, and other pertinent programming languages. - Create and implement tools that enhance engineering productivity. - Serve as an in-house expert, offering guidance to product engineers to facilitate the construction of scalable and reliable systems. - Cultivate relationships with engineering teams to grasp their requirements and enhance their daily workflows. - Contribute to the evolution of Rippling's architecture as the company continues to expand. Qualifications - Possess a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Backend/Infra Software Engineer. - Additional experience with DevEx (CI/CD/Docker/test frameworks) or Cloud (AWS/Kubernetes/Terraform/MongoDB) technologies is a plus. - Familiarity with Python or Go is advantageous. - Exhibit a passion for enhancing developer productivity and developing scalable systems.
