Senior Software Developer II

As a Senior Software Engineer II at Milliman, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical requirements into applications and services supported by EB Admin Technology. Your primary focus will be on full-stack development and providing ongoing support for production defects. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement full stack functionality using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and ASP.Net stack to meet technical design requirements. - Replicate UI designs from Figma into code using Asp.Net framework. - Mentor and support software developers in adhering to coding standards. - Develop calculation libraries and distribution packages for clients based on specifications. - Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications and services, including ASP.Net apps and WCF Web Services. - Conduct code reviews and maintain proper documentation of libraries and object structure. - Stay updated on programming trends and provide support for strategic initiatives. Required Skills & Attributes: - Minimum 5 years of experience with modern UI technologies in a Microsoft stack. - Proficiency in SQL Server, XML, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps. - Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core Framework Class Libraries. - Experience in multi-tiered web-based applications and agile SDLC environments. - Excellent communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - 10+ years of experience in software development. Preferred Skills: - Willingness to learn Microsoft Blazor. - Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently. - Strong integrity and discretion in handling sensitive client data. - Effective planning, priority setting, and task delegation skills. - Capability to perform well in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
