Experience: 5 to 10Years Location: Bangalore Notice period: immediate to 60days Job Description Maintain our SW components for SE-Linux compliancy Systematic defect analysis and fixing Lifecycle development including including Hypervisor, Container, Android and Hardware synchronization and all other components in the system. Maintain and extend PowerManagement components to optimize the system performance and lifetime. Participation in software design reviews to ensure a 100% reliability and functionality. Participate in Cross functional Proof of Concept implementations. As part of an dynamic and agile team you will ensure robustness, performance, reliability and security aspects within the software design and therefore all BMW cars. The result of your effort is high-quality software which becomes an integral part of BMW vehicles. You will be working in a modern development environment with tools such as C++17/20, Yocto Linux, CMake, Git/GitHub EE, Zuul CI. Qualifications Basic requirements and Education Business fluent English University degree in computer science or a comparable field of study, ideally with a security focus Required Experience and Skills University degree in computer science or a comparable course of study. At least 5 years of practical software development experience. Very good coding skills in Modern C++, including good API design, object-oriented and functional programming, as well as component-level software architecture and unit testing. Very good proficiency: multi-platform development, state-machines, event driven programming, remote procedure calls, hands on knowledge with Linux stack Very good knowledge with: CMake, compiler toolchains (gcc, clang), C++ qualtiy assurance, Yocto, Git Very good analytic skills for debugging and design reviews. Self-driven and able to work independently as member of a Scrum team.
