Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software QA Engineer at Verifone, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the best quality and timely delivery of projects through automation. Your responsibilities will include leading QA tasks for assigned projects, developing automation frameworks, mentoring team members on testing practices, and collaborating with various project teams. You will thrive in a dynamic work environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with traits like self-motivation and accountability. Key Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively within agile project teams to embed quality throughout the development process - Contribute to the delivery of quality releases on schedule - Identify, recommend, and implement tools to enhance automation efforts - Mentor team members on testing practices and tools - Proactively address issues and provide innovative solutions - Log and track defects efficiently - Coordinate with other project teams for project-specific activities - Guide and support new and junior team members in testing activities and issue resolution Qualifications Required: - B.E degree (CS, EC, IT, IS) or post-graduation (ME/M.Tech/MCA) - 7-10 years of software testing experience - Strong understanding of SDLC and automated QA processes in agile environments - Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools - Knowledge of testing fundamentals like TDD & BDD - Proficient in manual testing and experience in Agile PLC - Familiarity with task breakdown, estimation, and resolving technical issues - Experience working with multi-site project teams - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Additional Company Details: - Verifone is committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment where employees are encouraged to excel and contribute positively to project teams.,
