Senior Siemens Programmer

As a PLC Programmer at Sree Sakthi Group of Companies in Coimbatore, India, your role will involve providing technical support and maintenance services for the products and systems across all areas. You will be responsible for Siemens PLC programming and development, system troubleshooting and maintenance, system integration and optimization, documentation and compliance, as well as training and technical support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create, modify, and test PLC programs using Siemens software, ensuring code accuracy and compliance with project requirements. - Develop custom logic and control sequences for automation tasks such as machinery operations, material handling, and process control. - Diagnose and resolve issues in existing Siemens PLC systems to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. - Integrate Siemens PLCs with other control systems and software to facilitate smooth data flow and control. - Develop and maintain detailed documentation including system schematics, wiring diagrams, user manuals, and maintenance records. - Provide training sessions and technical guidance to production operators and maintenance staff for effective operation and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled systems. **Qualifications and Requirements:** - Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. - Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming and system troubleshooting. - Technical Proficiency: Proficient in programming languages used in Siemens PLCs (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and knowledgeable in industrial networking and communication protocols. - Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. - Attention to Detail: High accuracy in programming and adherence to safety and quality standards.
