Senior Scientific Writer - Medical Communication/Publications

Role Overview: You will be part of the Global Scientific Communications Content Hub team based in Global Healthcare's R&D Hub in Bengaluru. As a scientific writing professional, you will collaborate with various teams across Healthcare to develop medical communications, medical education, and medical information content. Your role will involve contributing to the growth of operations and improving initiatives within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop medical content for a variety of project types, audiences, and writing styles, including publications, congress materials, and medical education content. - Prioritize tasks to meet timelines and deadlines while maintaining a proven track record of successful scientific writing. - Contribute actively to improvement initiatives across the Global Scientific Communications Content Hub. - Stay updated on developing trends in the scientific communications field and demonstrate strong analytical skills to understand complex scientific datasets. - Collaborate with team members to develop content independently and collectively. - Possess therapeutic expertise/experience in at least one of the key therapy areas: Oncology, Neurology and Immunology, Fertility, Cardio-metabolic, and Endocrinology. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of professional experience for Senior Writer positions or 5+ years for Expert Writer positions in medical communications/medical affairs/clinical research within an international Pharma/Biotech/agency setting. - Advanced university degree in science, medicine, or a related subject. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team to develop a range of content types. - Good awareness of trends in scientific communications. - Comfortable with developing various content types concurrently and prioritizing tasks effectively. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex scientific datasets.
