Senior SAP ABAP Platform Engineer - Generative AI Integration

Responsibilities

• Experience in ABAP development, including FIORI/UI5.
• Strong experience in REST/oData API creation and consumption.
• Solid understanding of ERP to S/4HANA migration, particularly custom code migration processes.
• Proven expertise in software engineering principles, product standards, and SAP development tools.
• Innovative, analytical, and curious mindsetan out-of-the-box thinker with strong business acumen.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; customer-focused and results-driven.
• Passionate about learning and experimenting with new technologies, especially in AI and language engineering.
• Design and implement solutions that integrate Generative AI capabilities into the ABAP platform, accelerating developer productivity and custom code management.
• Develop core components across ABAP runtime, SDKs, compilers, and language models.
• Collaborate closely within an Empowered Product Team, contributing to all stages of the product lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement of ABAP tools and frameworks to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Partner with SAP customers to deliver deep product expertise and ensure high-quality support and adoption of AI-driven solutions.
• Champion innovation by exploring new technologies and methods to enhance the ABAP language and platform ecosystem.
  

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
