Job Description

Business development

Identify and approach new customers
Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, references, consultants, MEP contractors and FM companies
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for chemicals and treatment programmes

Account management

Manage an assigned portfolio of existing accounts and secure repeat orders on time
Build relationships with plant heads, maintenance/engineering managers, purchase teams and FM managers
Track customer consumption and plan replenishment orders in coordination with the stores/godown team
Handle contract renewals, rate revisions and annual maintenance contract (AMC) proposals

Techno-commercial selling

Understand the customer's water system (cooling tower, chiller, boiler, RO, ETP/STP) and identify treatment needs
Coordinate site surveys and water analysis with the technical team
Prepare and present quotations, techno-commercial offers and treatment programme proposals
Negotiate prices, payment terms and close orders

Collections and reporting

Follow up on payments and keep receivables within agreed credit days
Update the CRM daily with visits, leads, quotations and order status
Submit weekly sales reports and a monthly sales forecast
Share market intelligence on competitors, pricing and new opportunities

Experience:

Chemical: 3 years (Required)
