Job Title: General Surgery Senior Resident Location: Subharti Medical College & Hospital, Meerut Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Resident in General Surgery to join our surgical team at Subharti Medical College, Meerut. The role involves hands-on clinical responsibilities, surgical assistance, academic participation, and active involvement in emergency and OPD services. The selected candidate will work in a highly academic environment focused on patient care, training, and continuous professional development. Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and outpatient care in general surgery. Assist and perform surgical procedures including laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and open surgeries. Participate in ward rounds, pre-operative and post-operative care. Manage emergency surgical cases in coordination with the on-call team. Engage in academic activities including teaching of MBBS students and participation in seminars, journal clubs, and clinical meetings. Maintain patient documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and surgical safety standards. Contribute to research and clinical audits as per departmental requirements. Eligibility Criteria: Qualification: MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution. Experience: Fresh postgraduates and candidates with relevant clinical exposure are encouraged to apply.
