Senior Researcher - Multimodal Lab

As a Senior AI Researcher, you will be part of a global team working on inventing new multimedia analysis, processing, and rendering technologies alongside Dolby's world-class audio and vision experts. Your work will contribute to revolutionizing how people create, deliver, and enjoy entertainment worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Partner closely with other domain experts to refine and execute Dolby's technical strategy in artificial intelligence and machine learning. - Utilize deep learning to develop new solutions and enhance existing applications, including foundation models. - Drive the state-of-the-art in audio and media technologies and develop intellectual property. - Transfer technology to product groups and participate in drafting patent applications. - Advise internal leaders on recent advancements in deep learning to influence research direction and business decisions effectively. Qualifications Required: - Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field. - Strong background in deep learning with practical experience. - Knowledge and interest in audio processing, with additional experience in video or text processing being desirable. - Strong publication record in major machine learning conferences like NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and preferably in top domain-specific conferences like ACL, CVPR, ICASSP. - Proficiency in Python and at least one popular deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch). - Ability to conceptualize new technologies and translate them into innovative products. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
