Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

You will be joining our Quality Engineering team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, focusing on testing various Clarivate products and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing a strong skill set in Test Automation using Selenium with Java, API Testing, Security Testing, Browser Stack, and Performance Engineering with JMeter - Demonstrating proficiency in Selenium, Java, JavaScript, or Python - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with at least 4 years of experience in software automation, BDD framework, API automation, and test frameworks - Strong programming skills in Java, with expertise in coding and debugging using Selenium binding - Experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket - Understanding test automation frameworks, test pyramid, and functional/non-functional aspects of testing - Familiarity with Agile and Kanban development approaches, as well as test and defect management tools such as JIRA and Confluence It would be advantageous if you also have experience with cloud tools like AWS. In this role, you will: - Engage in hands-on automation engineering - Collaborate with team members in a supportive manner to encourage team building and individual confidence - Evaluate, learn, and adapt to new tools - Work accurately and effectively, even under pressure, to meet expectations - Prioritize individual and team workload effectively The product you will be developing focuses on intellectual property, enabling comprehensive IP searches, taxonomy management, and AI-driven search capabilities to support clients in research, innovation, and patent filing through advanced analytical data. The existing team, spread across India, consists of Testers with strong technical and analytical skills in Java, Selenium, Python, C#, HTML5, Web API, SQL, and JavaScript. You will be part of a large QA Group responsible for delivering world-class products and innovative solutions in the field of IP. This is a permanent position with Clarivate, working in the IST time zone with 9 hours of work per day, including a 1-hour lunch break.
