Senior QA Engineer OTT Platforms

As a Senior QA Engineer specializing in OTT Platforms (iOS, Android, Smart TV & Web) based in Chennai, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of streaming services across various devices and environments. With 4 to 10 years of experience, your expertise in testing OTT platforms will be crucial in this role. Your primary tasks will include testing across mobile (iOS & Android), Smart TV (Samsung, LG, etc.), and Web platforms. You will utilize automation tools such as Java, Selenium, and Appium to develop and maintain test automation scripts for OTT platforms. Your strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug tracking tools like JIRA will be essential to ensure the efficiency of the testing process. In addition to your technical skills, you will leverage your experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI to streamline the testing workflow. Exposure to tools like Charles Proxy, Postman, or REST Assured for API testing will be advantageous in this role. To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
