Senior QA Engineer / Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in automation and quality engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based automation frameworks, API testing, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Java, Spock, and related tools.
• Perform manual and automated testing for REST APIs, web, and microservices-based applications.
• Collaborate with development teams using Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor and analyze application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable feedback.
• Write SQL/NoSQL queries for data validation and verification.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and GitLab/GitHub.
• Document test plans, test cases, and defects effectively.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with

  Spock, Groovy, Java, Postman, Jira, Jenkins, Maven

• Database knowledge:

  Oracle, Cassandra, Postgres, Solr

• Version control:

  GitLab/GitHub

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering and automation
• Understanding of multi-tier web applications, microservices, and REST APIs

Good to Have:

• Experience with

  REST Assured, Kafka, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver

• Telecom domain experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and full SDLC

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
