Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java, Selenium, Rest Assured) Location: Chennai - DLF Cybercity Experience: 58 Years Work Mode: Work From Office Domain Preference: E-commerce / Healthcare (Preferred) Job Overview: We are hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java , Selenium , and API Testing using Rest Assured . The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building robust automation frameworks and working in fast-paced Agile environments. Domain experience in e-commerce or healthcare will be a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API testing. Develop and execute test scripts using Java + Selenium for web applications. Perform REST API testing using Rest Assured with JSON/XML payloads. Identify, document, and track defects to closure. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases. Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and system testing. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA team members. Required Skills and Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on QA automation experience. Strong programming skills in Java . Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. Solid experience in API testing using Rest Assured . Good understanding of test design techniques and best practices. Experience with build and CI/CD tools like Maven , Jenkins , Git . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA , TestRail , etc. Preferred Qualifications: Domain experience in E-commerce or Healthcare applications. Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber . Experience with cloud-based testing or containerization (Docker). Performance testing experience using JMeter (a plus).
