Senior QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview: You will function as the test automation engineer for a major product platform implementation, ensuring the quality of the application under test. Your responsibilities will include performing automation test activities, interacting with client stakeholders, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring end-to-end coverage of functional testing. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions to efficiently address issues with creative and cost-effective solutions. - Plan tests, coordinate with the team, monitor and control testing activities, and communicate findings effectively. - Participate in customer calls, requirement gathering exercises, sprint planning/grooming sessions, and sprint reviews as required. - Implement in sprint test automation for feature delivery and have expertise in automation testing tools like Cypress and TestRail. - Work closely with customers and development teams to coordinate testing activities and ensure accurate verification of acceptance criteria. - Monitor project quality and alert the project manager about deviations or risks while tracking quality metrics and initiating interventions for improvement. - Efficiently report test metrics to client stakeholders to reflect accurate information on the status and quality of the product. - Demonstrate good working knowledge of agile and DevOps processes related to testing.
