As a PMO Project Manager at SAP, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects across various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies. You will develop detailed project plans, drive project execution within scope, budget, and timelines, and collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria. Your role will involve establishing effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, allocating project resources appropriately, monitoring resource utilization, and identifying potential risks with mitigation strategies. You will proactively address issues and challenges that may impact project delivery, prepare regular project status reports, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Project Manager with 7+ years of experience, preferably within a PMO. Possessing certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) would be advantageous. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, best practices, and experience in leading bigger programs/projects/innovation topics are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment are required. The ECS Delivery Technical Ops team at SAP, where this role is based, is responsible for running the S4HANA Private Cloud and providing 24/7 support for customers across multiple infrastructures. The PMO team within the ECS Delivery Technical Ops team drives improvement and innovation projects across various areas, with team members located globally in India, Germany, and Mexico.
