Senior Product Manager

What you will own

You own a revenue-bearing business end to end across four connected levers: subscriber growth, unit economics, upgrades and new business models. Senior here means you set the strategy and experiment roadmap across all four, navigate real platform constraints and align partners you don't manage.

• Grow subscriptions: attract and convert new Microsoft 365 subscribers on mobile through great paywalls, trials and purchase experiences on the App Store and Google Play.
• Improve unit economics: raise lifetime value and ARPU through smarter packaging, pricing and offers, and by keeping subscribers engaged and renewing.
• Lead upgrades: design upgrade experiences that help subscribers discover Copilot-powered and Pro plans at the moment the value is obvious.
• Build new business models: launch and scale consumption packs and other usage-based offers that let people buy more AI exactly when they need it.
• Partner broadly: work with engineering, design, data science, finance, pricing, legal, marketing and platform partners so every offer is bold, fair and compliant.

You will move the metrics that define a healthy subscription business: paid subscriber growth, trial conversion, upgrade rate, ARPU, lifetime value, retention and consumption revenue.

Your first 30 / 60 / 90 days

• First 30 days: understand the mobile subscriber journey end to end, from first trial to upgrade to renewal, and the economics behind it.
• By 60 days: a hypothesis-led roadmap across growth, unit economics, upgrades and consumption that partners have signed up to.
• By 90 days: first experiments live across at least two levers, with early, measurable wins.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field AND 6+ years of product management experience shipping consumer or mobile products at scale.
  • OR a master's degree AND 5+ years.
  • OR equivalent experience.
• A track record of owning subscription outcomes such as paid conversion, upgrades, ARPU, lifetime value or retention.
• Depth in designing experiments, reading results honestly and acting on them.
• Ability to align teams without formal authority and write clear narratives for senior leaders.
• Hands-on experience with StoreKit and Google Play Billing.
• Paywall design, pricing and packaging, trial optimization, or tiered and usage-based (consumption) monetization models.
• Consumer subscription experience in streaming, music, edtech, gaming or AI apps.
• Comfort with SQL and causal inference.
