Senior Principal Engineer, Arm On Arm

As a member of the Arm on Arm team, you will drive the transition to Arm-based platforms across various compute systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with partners in the supply chain, software vendors, hardware companies, and cloud operators to facilitate the migration to Arm-based compute solutions. You will be involved in building Arm servers, optimizing code for the latest microarchitecture, and promoting the use of AArch64 across Engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for partners, especially EDA software vendors, assisting them with queries related to porting code or services to Arm platforms. Resolve technical queries and issues over an extended period to ensure successful outcomes. - Diagnose and resolve compatibility or performance issues, such as identifying bugs in network protocols, investigating performance regressions, and ensuring consistency of floating-point math results across different architectures. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to finding solutions. - Possess programming expertise across various languages, with a focus on C programming. - Utilize software optimization techniques and experience benchmarking to measure performance effectively. - Have awareness of IT infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and datacenter configuration.
