Senior PeopleSoft Administrator

Role Overview: You will be working with a range of technical experts and knowledge leaders from the business, providing you with exposure to an industry sector that embraces innovation and evolution. As a part of the Digital, Data, and Cloud team at Version 1, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the next phase of expansion in one of the fastest-growing consultancies globally. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain PeopleSoft environments and troubleshoot and fix all server/application related issues. - Possess a very good understanding of PeopleSoft Admin technical architecture. - Drive PUM upgrade activities and collaborate effectively with Functional and Technical team members. - Assist the Technical team in migrating approved code to Production and plan environment availability for end users. - Perform post-refresh activities on non-production environments and monitor Production Schedule Jobs. - Troubleshoot performance issues with PeopleSoft processes and reports. - Conduct Oracle DB installations, Database backup and recovery, and Database Refresh/cloning. - Implement PeopleSoft Quarterly Patching and Oracle DB patching, Maintenance Monitoring (Performance Monitoring and Tuning). - Create and execute backup/restore and disaster recovery strategy and scripts for databases in specified environments. - Provide database administration consulting services for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. - Communicate effectively with end users and team members, and mentor more junior team members. - Be prepared to work in shifts primarily during UK business hours and EST, with some planned weekend work for Production releases. Qualifications: - Proficiency in Application Administration and PeopleTools. - Experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components on LINUX and Windows platforms. - High-level skills in PeopleTools v854 and higher, including Integration Broker. - Expertise in administering Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases. - Minimum of 12 years of PeopleSoft infrastructure experience. - Comprehensive understanding of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA). - Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x or above. - Expertise in all technical areas of PeopleSoft and/or PS Admin, as well as in all DBA areas (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle). - Demonstrated ability to follow through on assignments and issue resolution. Professional Skills Required: - Minimum of 12 years of experience in the field. - Strong communication skills. - Analytical skills. - Ability to handle pressure. - Experience with cloud servers.
