Senior .NET Engineer / Dev Lead / Architect

The Senior .NET Engineer / Dev Lead / Architect (Contract Multiple Openings) position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and a high likelihood of extension. The project requires top-tier .NET talent across three levels to execute and lead the effort swiftly and effectively. As a .NET Architect, your responsibilities will include owning and delivering backend architectural direction and system design. You will create sequence diagrams, technical documentation, and system flows. Additionally, you will define scalable architecture patterns and evaluate tradeoffs between AWS and Azure. Collaborating with stakeholders to guide the long-term technical vision will also be a key aspect of your role. In the position of .NET Dev Lead / Senior Engineer, you will lead sprint execution and unblock engineers. Reviewing PRs, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring delivery velocity are essential tasks. You will be responsible for translating architectural vision into execution for offshore teams and contributing to backend development when necessary. As a Senior .NET Engineer (Individual Contributor), your duties will involve rewriting legacy .NET APIs and migrating them to .NET 8. Performing data migration, load testing, and troubleshooting will be part of your responsibilities. You will also participate in stabilization and modernization tasks with a sense of urgency. The technology stack for this role includes .NET 8, .NET Core, .NET Framework 3.5/4.x, C#, RESTful APIs, Microservices, MVC, Azure and AWS cloud environments, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Entity Framework, CI/CD, Git, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Docker, IIS, as well as Unit, Integration, and Functional Testing. Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) is also beneficial. Bonus experience in Kubernetes, Dynamics CRM, and Legacy Authentication flows (e.g., ADFS) would be advantageous. The ideal candidate for this position should be fast-moving and highly accountable, with the ability to work autonomously or lead others. Clear communication skills and a focus on documentation are crucial. A proven track record of delivering in time-sensitive environments and experience working on modernization or large refactoring initiatives are desirable qualities.,
