As a Senior .Net Developer with Azure at Cognizant Technology Solutions, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions using SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Azure, and .Net Framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, contributing to enhancing systems to meet the evolving needs of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop robust software applications using SQL Server, C#, and .Net Framework to meet business requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure to enhance system scalability and performance. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity through effective SQL query design and management. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality standards. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices. - Document software designs, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements. - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all software development activities. - Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for software engineering within the team. - Support the integration of new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and effectiveness. **Qualifications:** - Possess a strong understanding of SQL Server, C#, and .Net Framework with proven experience in software development. - Demonstrate expertise in Azure cloud services and their application in software solutions. - Exhibit proficiency in SQL for database management and optimization. - Have experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain, which is a valuable asset. - Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Display strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.,
