Senior Member of Technical Staff - Systems

Role Overview: You will be working as a Senior Software Engineer at DevRev, architecting the future of AI-powered SaaS. Your main responsibilities will include leading the design and operation of scalable distributed systems, architecting low-latency, real-time conversational experiences, building and optimizing data pipelines, driving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, and solving complex scalability challenges. Key Responsibilities: - Lead design and operation of scalable distributed systems for DevRevs AI-native, cloud-native platform. - Architect low-latency, real-time conversational experiences in a multi-tenant environment. - Build and optimize data pipelines (message buses, async patterns) for data-intensive features, analytics, and "Airdrop" data sync. - Drive technical excellence by following distributed systems best practices, API-first design, CI/CD for high deployment velocity. - Mentor engineers and solve complex scalability, performance, and multi-tenancy challenges for "blazing-fast software". Qualifications Required: - 7-10 years of software engineering experience in large-scale distributed systems. - Expertise in message buses (preferably Kafka), queues, async processing, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures. - Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or Scala. - Skills in cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, IaC. - Experience with real-time systems. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. - BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
