Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC design with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for planning and designing all building services elements in the healthcare/hospital projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conceptualizing designs based on evaluations and coordinating with architectural and structural inputs. - Performing design calculations and quantity estimations. - Ensuring compliance with the company's quality standard procedures. - Overseeing design output checking and coordination with other disciplines. - Guiding the design team to deliver within specified time limits. - Managing tasks effectively by supervising design engineers and CAD Technicians. - Monitoring design costs to ensure profitability. - Sharing knowledge and experience with team members to coach and develop junior staff. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Proficiency in software such as IES, HAP, and HEVACOMP for calculations related to space cooling and heating loads, ducting and piping design, equipment selection, ventilation systems, etc. - Experience in reviewing drawings and calculations, preparing reports, and developing BOQ. - Knowledge of local authority codes and regulations, as well as relevant international codes and regulations. - Familiarity with sustainable, green building design practices. - Strong communication skills to liaise with clients directly.
