As a Senior Manager for Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality initiatives, your role is crucial in ensuring accurate, consistent, and trusted data within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing strategic oversight for the development and implementation of enterprise-wide MDM and data quality strategies, aligning them with business objectives. - Leading the creation and execution of a comprehensive MDM and Data Quality roadmap, coordinating efforts across departments and systems. - Overseeing the operations and governance of Informatica MDM platforms to meet organizational needs and integrate with existing applications. - Guiding the development of data models, taxonomies, and hierarchies for enterprise-wide data consistency. - Establishing a framework for creating and maintaining data quality rules and workflows to proactively identify and resolve issues. - Directing the implementation of data profiling techniques and statistical analysis for continuous improvement in data quality. - Coordinating collaboration between IT teams and business units for data integration projects. - Overseeing the design and implementation of data exchange mechanisms between MDM and other systems. - Managing talent development initiatives within the team, fostering skills in advanced MDM concepts and emerging data technologies. - Providing leadership to a team of data professionals, setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and promoting innovation. - Serving as the primary liaison between the MDM/Data Quality team and senior stakeholders. - Presenting strategic updates, including data quality metrics, KPIs, and risk assessments to executive management. - Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements across all MDM and data quality initiatives. - Driving change management and adoption of MDM and data quality best practices through education and stakeholder engagement. Technical Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Technology, Mathematics, or related field. - 5+ years of experience with Informatica, including design, implementation, and optimization. - 3+ years of direct management experience in data operations, data governance or data quality. - Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python and other scripting languages. - Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques. - Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management. - Knowledge of prompt engineering for data quality improvement. Preferred Qualifications: - Informatica MDM Certified Professional or Practitioner. - Experience in implementing data quality initiatives in multi-system, complex environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making. - Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions and data integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications on data management.
