Senior Manager (FPGA , Board Bring-up)

You are an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Embedded Software with 15-20 years of experience, seeking to lead the defining, designing, and developing embedded software, ASIC/FPGA design for precision measurement, inspection, and control solutions in Bangalore. As a hands-on leader, you will drive innovation, quality, and durability of end products while ensuring cost efficiency, process optimization, and compliance to enhance quality assurance. Your responsibilities will include participating in the definition and design of embedded software, FPGA, and Board Support Package (BSP) SW development, assisting hardware teams with component selection and debugging, developing/integrating bootloaders, device drivers, kernels, and upgrade mechanisms, and collaborating with internal teams to gather software requirements. You will also ensure high-quality software feature delivery, lead rapid prototyping efforts, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the development teams. Critical skills and experiences required for this role include experience in FPGA and/or BSP software, Linux/Android OS experience, C programming, Linux Kernel experience, BSP device driver development experience, and 5-7+ years of experience as a People Manager. Extensive experience in product development phases, design verification/validation, debugging of issues during Board bring-up activities, and knowledge of handling PCBA and debug equipment are highly desired. Desirable skills and experiences include experience in Firmware development, Firmware Architecture, team management, root-causing, debugging silicon issues in production environments, and working with vendors on failure analysis and firmware releases. Qualifications for this position include a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, along with 10+ years of experience working in Embedded software, ASIC Firmware Development, Production Support, CI/CD, and complete life cycle of ASIC firmware.,
