Position : Senior/Lead Python Developer Location : Hyderabad (Hybrid Mode) Duration : Fulltime with CASPEX End client EXPERIAN Python & FastAPI Lead Architect Microservices | AWS | Vertica Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Lead and Architect to design and lead the development of scalable, high-performance microservices using FastAPI on AWS . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in handling large-scale data processing with Vertica , and a strong background in architecting distributed systems and leading engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Technology lead – With Handson experience of the development of microservices-based applications using Python and FastAPI . Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient systems on AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.). Build and optimize data pipelines and services that interact with large datasets in Vertica . Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Define and enforce coding standards, architecture principles, and best practices. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvement. Ensure system performance, reliability, and observability through monitoring and logging. Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern, cloud-native architectures. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in backend development with Python . 3+ years of hands-on experience with FastAPI and asynchronous programming. Strong experience in designing and deploying microservices architectures . Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-native application design. Deep understanding of Vertica or similar columnar databases for large-scale data processing. Experience with AWS – ECS, Fargate, Docker and CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of RESTful API design, security, and performance optimization. Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics workflows. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices. Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
