Position: Senior Lead Engineer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and Perform structural analysis (static, fatigue and damage tolerance) for primary and secondary aircraft structures using both classical hand calculations and Finite Element Method (FEM).
- Generate documentation to report the analysis results.
- Able to take ownership and handle the project with minimum dependency.
- Ensure the analysis tasks are completed within the stipulated time and high quality.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills with the ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams and SBU, while exhibiting a proactive, go-getter attitude.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on Nacelle Systems for Commercial aircraft programs such as B787, A320neo, A220, A350.
- Experience in structural analysis of Metallic and Composite aircraft components and assemblies.
- Expertise in load path, load balance, free body diagram, classical hand analysis methods and Finite Element Method (FEM) used in Aerospace structural analysis using MSC Nastran / PATRAN.
- Proficient in independently interpreting stress reports, certification documents, and substantiation analyses.
- Excellent technical articulation and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as TCL/Tk, Python and Visual Basic is an added advantage.
