Senior Laravel Developer

As a Senior Laravel Developer at InvesQ, a leading German business solution provider, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications using the Laravel Framework. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers and front-end developers to implement new features, writing clean and secure code following industry best practices, designing and managing RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party services. Additionally, you will lead code reviews, guide team members through performance tuning, and mentor junior developers to ensure coding standards and best practices are upheld. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using the Laravel Framework. - Collaborate closely with product managers and front-end developers to implement new features and functionalities. - Write clean, secure, and well-documented code, following industry best practices. - Design and manage RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. - Lead code reviews, ensure code quality, and guide team members through performance tuning and architectural decisions. - Mentor junior developers, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed. - Actively contribute to improving development workflows, tools, and techniques. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience with PHP and the Laravel Framework, expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL and database optimization, proven experience with RESTful APIs, Laravel Queues, Events, and Notifications, familiarity with Git workflows, Docker, and deployment pipelines, a strong understanding of MVC architecture, OOP principles, and design patterns, experience with unit testing (PHPUnit) and CI/CD tools, excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as leadership experience and the ability to guide junior team members. Nice to Have: - Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred, but not required). - Experience working in an agile development environment. - Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
