Job Description

As a member of the Securities Operations IT team, you will be part of a culture that values excellence, learning, and integrity. Your responsibilities will include developing, testing, automating, releasing, and maintaining Java web/backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features, ensuring that you write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices. Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing applications, participating in code reviews, and providing constructive feedback to team members are also key aspects of this role. It is essential to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them to enhance the quality and performance of applications. You will be responsible for writing and executing unit tests and regression BDD tests to guarantee the reliability and functionality of the code. Implementing security measures to protect applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities and documenting technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation will also be part of your responsibilities. Mandatory Skills Required: - Hands-on experience with Java programming language, Spring Boot, Kafka, Azure, Containers, Kubernetes (5+ years) - Experience with app deployment on Azure cloud / AKS - Understanding of software development principles and methodologies - Ability to work in an agile scrum methodology - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to build highly performant solutions - Good communication and teamwork abilities Nice-to-Have Skills: - Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React is a plus Join us if you are technically excellent, aspire to inspire others, and are committed to upholding our values and culture.,
