Senior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development:

  Collaborate with clients, design leaders, and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop innovative design solutions that align with client needs and company standards.

• Project Coordination:

  Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate execution of design plans. Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any design-related issues that arise during construction.

• Technical Documentation:

  Prepare detailed technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.

• Material and Product Selection:

  Research and recommend suitable materials, furniture, and fixtures that meet design specifications and budget constraints. Prepare detailed specifications and procurement lists for project implementation.

• Client Interaction:

  Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary. Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

• Team Leadership:

  Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.

• Sales Leadership:

  Lead sales discussions with clients and close deals to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on corporate/workplace projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of materials, technical specifications, building codes, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and client management skills.
• Experience in corporate/workspace fitout is mandatory
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience in running one's own design studio is highly desirable.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellence.
