Senior Integration Engineer

Role: Senior Integration Engineer

Exp: 8+ years

Mandatory Skills: VmWare ESXi, Scripting, Protocol Experience in needed.

1. Virtualization Infrastructure Design & Deployment

• Architect and implement VMware ESXi clusters (or equivalent) according to capacity and HA requirements.
• Configure resource pools, vMotion, DRS rules, and storage policies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

1. Azure Cloud Provisioning & Management

• Deploy and manage Azure VMs, VNets, storage accounts, and identity services using ARM templates or Terraform.
• Implement hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute/VPN) and enforce network security groups and access controls.

1. MES & DCS Systems Integration

• Collaborate with process engineers to integrate and configure MES and DCS platforms for seamless data flow.
• Validate data mapping, workflows, and OPC/Modbus interfaces between control systems and enterprise applications.

1. Industrial Protocol Configuration

• Set up and maintain OPC DA/UA servers and clients, ensuring correct endpoint security and certificates.
• Configure Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, and Fieldbus networks, and troubleshoot protocol-level errors.

1. Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripts to automate VM provisioning, patching, and health checks.
• Integrate scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) for consistent infrastructure deployments.

1. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Implement monitoring for virtual and cloud resources using tools like vRealize, Azure Monitor, or Grafana.
• Analyze performance metrics daily, identify bottlenecks, and apply tuning recommendations for CPU, memory, and I/O.

1. Incident Detection & Resolution

• Provide firstlevel troubleshooting for virtualization, cloud, and automation issues during standard support hours.
• Log detailed incident records in the ticketing system, conduct rootcause analysis, and apply permanent fixes.

1. Standard Operating Procedures & Documentation

• Create and maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and SOPs covering virtualization, cloud, and industrial systems.
• Update documentation after each change to ensure accuracy and facilitate knowledge transfer.

1. Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning

• Design and test backup strategies for VMs, Azure resources, and critical control system configurations.
• Document DR procedures and conduct periodic recovery drills to verify RPO/RTO targets.

1. CrossFunctional Collaboration & Handover

• Engage with IT security, network, and OT teams to align on change windows and compliance requirements.
• Provide clear handover notes for any ongoing tasks or escalations at the end of each shift or project milestone.
