Senior Healthcare Integration Developer

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and upkeep of interfaces that facilitate seamless data exchange between various systems, thereby improving interoperability and operational efficiency. This role is based in Bangalore. Your main responsibilities will include: Interface Development & Maintenance: - Designing, developing, testing, and deploying interfaces using the Mirth integration engine. - Ensuring compliance with healthcare data exchange standards like HL7, FHIR, EDI, and X12 transactions. EMR/EHR Integration: - Collaborating with healthcare providers to integrate EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and Allscripts. - Troubleshooting and enhancing existing interfaces for better performance and accuracy. Data Mapping & Transformation: - Executing data mapping, transformation, and normalization to guarantee compatibility across different systems. Collaboration & Support: - Partnering with cross-functional teams, including software developers, implementation specialists, and healthcare stakeholders, to provide robust integration solutions. - Offering support and documentation for deployed interfaces, including monitoring and maintenance. Regulatory Compliance: - Ensuring all interfaces align with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and other regional compliance requirements. To qualify for this role, you should possess the following skills: - Hands-on experience with the Mirth integration engine or similar tools. - Proficiency in healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, X12, and other EDI standards. - Previous experience integrating major EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms. - Programming skills in JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar languages. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and database technologies. - Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities. Preferred skills include familiarity with cloud-based integration platforms, healthcare interoperability standards like SMART on FHIR, experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Ideally, you should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience.
