Senior Golang Developer- Kubernetes & Cloud

Role Overview: You will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications in GoLang, emphasizing debugging, optimization, and scalability. Additionally, you will apply coding and debugging expertise for Python-based applications, perform advanced Linux OS system-level debugging and troubleshooting, architect, deploy, and manage workloads on the Kubernetes platform, develop and optimize Helm chart templates for complex deployments, build efficient, cloud-native applications optimized for public and private cloud environments, and integrate and manage Identity Providers (IDP) and authentication services within cloud applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications in GoLang - Apply coding and debugging expertise for Python-based applications - Perform advanced Linux OS system-level debugging and troubleshooting - Architect, deploy, and manage workloads on the Kubernetes platform - Develop and optimize Helm chart templates for complex deployments - Build efficient, cloud-native applications optimized for public and private cloud environments - Integrate and manage Identity Providers (IDP) and authentication services within cloud applications Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 years of experience in GoLang development, with additional hands-on experience in Python - Expertise in GoLang with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills - Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes architecture, networking, and operations - Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and application development - Advanced knowledge of gRPC and gNMI protocols and APIs - Expert-level proficiency in Linux OS and system-level debugging - Proficiency in Helm chart templating and Kubernetes resource optimization Additional Company Details: Ciena is committed to a people-first approach and values a culture focused on prioritizing a flexible work environment that empowers individual growth, well-being, and belonging.
