Senior Frontend Engineer (React.js)

You are a highly experienced Senior Frontend Engineer being sought to join our team for working on a mobile-first risk intelligence platform, focusing on fraud detection software. Your main task will involve the development and maintenance of the frontend of our application utilizing React.js. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces capable of efficiently handling large datasets. Your professional experience in software development should span a minimum of 12 years, with those possessing higher expertise levels being considered for senior positions. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields is required. In terms of Frontend Development, your responsibilities will include leveraging extensive experience in JavaScript and frontend frameworks, especially React.js. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), along with experience in state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn) are also crucial. Regarding UI/UX Design, a strong understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to transform design mockups and wireframes into functional user interfaces are expected. Experience in working with and presenting summaries of large datasets, and an understanding of data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) would be beneficial. Experience with large, complex enterprise dashboards, excellent collaboration and communication skills, the ability to work closely with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders are desirable traits. Passion for innovation, continuous learning of new skills and technologies, and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) are additional skills that would be advantageous. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the frontend of our fraud detection software using React.js, collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, creating and maintaining reusable components and front-end libraries, optimizing components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers, conducting code reviews, and providing feedback to team members, staying updated on industry trends and technologies, and mentoring junior engineers to contribute to their professional development.
