Senior Executive - Industrialization

As a Senior Executive Industrialization at Lucy Electric Manufacturing & Technologies India, your primary responsibility will be to oversee purchasing activities for prototyping related to New Product Development (NPD) and CR projects. You will also be involved in industrial activities at LEI/FZE/LET, provide support for lab management, and assist in product costing and cost reduction activities. Key Accountabilities: - Creating purchase orders and managing documentation for IEC & Automation, ensuring the accurate number of POs created. - Collaborating with designers during the design stage to optimize part design from a manufacturing process perspective while meeting part cost targets. - Coordinating between suppliers and designers for the manufacturing of parts, including developing project plans. - Involvement in mould design and press tool design during project handover stages. - Assisting the overseas design team with Jigs & fixtures, mould development, and adhering to project plans. - Coordinating between Engineering and manufacturing departments during project handover stages for the development of parts, jigs, and fixtures. - Providing support to the lab team for tools. Job Context: This role requires you to handle purchasing activities for prototyping and industrial activities for new projects, working independently within the team to ensure compliance with purchasing policies. Qualifications, Experience & Skills: - Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical with a background in MV/LV switchgear. - Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in CAD 2D/3D packages, design and manufacturing of plastic moulds, and part costing as per the manufacturing process. - Knowledge of Excel for costing purposes.
