Senior Executive - CoGen

As a Cogen Plant Operator at our company, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Cogen plant, turbine, and boiler. Your key responsibilities will include: - Operating the Cogen plant, turbine, and boiler in shifts according to guidelines and standard operating practices - Reviewing and monitoring field and DCS operations to achieve steam and power production goals - Supervising field operation personnel to maintain parameters within prescribed limits - Ensuring the boiler and turbine run smoothly and reporting any abnormalities for corrective action - Leading mechanical maintenance and breakdown activities in your shift - Ensuring water quality of the boiler and issuing work permits - Implementing standard operating procedures for safe and smooth operation - Coordinating with the process plant to meet steam requirements and managing fuel stock - Collecting coal and biomass samples for quality testing - Preparing daily and monthly operation reports Qualifications required for this role: - Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Work Experience: 5-10 years - Special Skills: Experience in Biomass-based power plant operation (BOE certification is a must) If you join our team, you will be expected to comply with Lexcore Directives, including timely execution and closing of audit observations and non-conformities, planning and executing recommendations from HAZOP, and updating documentation to meet statutory and legal requirements.
