Description
As a Senior ETL Developer at our company, your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, designing, developing, and enhancing ETL solutions and data integration projects. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnosing ETL and BI data issues. - Collaborating with users, BI, and ERP teams to implement and debug ETL solutions effectively. - Performance tuning and enhancing data loads, SQL, and ETL processes while preparing technical documentation. - Maintaining quality control, documenting technical specifications, and conducting unit testing to ensure the accuracy and quality of BI data. - Providing timely support and triaging production issues within SLAs. - Supporting ETL schedules, tasks, and collaborating with BI and IT team members to resolve data refresh issues. - Writing and tuning SQL statements, Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, and working with ADF, DevOps, and CI/CD processes, preferably using Github. - Engaging in database administration tasks and collaborating with DBAs to monitor and resolve SQL/ETL issues and performance tuning. - Developing software applications as part of a team, implementing practical and effective software design concepts. - Troubleshooting data warehouse refresh issues and conducting BI reports data validation with source systems. - Preferred experience with Oracle EBS ERP and knowledge of Cognos/Power BI. - Demonstrating independent problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with peer groups within IT/BI teams and management. - Being open to learning and acquiring new skills. Your expertise in data warehouse architecture, dimensional modeling, star schema designs, and experience with indexes, partitioning, and data loading will be valuable in this role. Additionally, your strong experience in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, and familiarity with ADF and DevOps/CI/CD processes will contribute to the success of our projects.
