Porter is on a mission to disrupt the industry with cutting-edge technology and ambitious growth plans. **Role Overview:** - Define and Drive Platform Vision: - Champion a platform mindset to build scalable, secure, and reusable cloud and security capabilities. - Participate in defining and evolving the long-term technical vision for cloud infrastructure and security engineering. - Stay updated on industry trends and align them with the company's goals. - Cross-Org Collaboration and Platform Adoption: - Foster strong partnerships with product engineering, infosec, and compliance teams. - Ensure successful adoption of platform solutions by driving enablement and automation. - Project Management and Execution Excellence: - Act as a masterful program manager for complex, cross-functional initiatives. - Establish clear goals and delegate effectively across teams while unblocking obstacles. - People Leadership and Talent Development: - Build and nurture high-performing, cross-functional teams. - Lead performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and invest in career development. - Operational Ownership and Risk Mitigation: - Own the operational health of platform and security infrastructure. - Establish strong risk management practices and define secure defaults. **Qualification Required:** - Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Proficiency in major cloud platforms, preferably GCP. - Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform and cloud-native automation tools. - Containerization and Orchestration: Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. - Systems & Networking: Strong foundation in Linux systems, networking, DNS, and load balancers. - Monitoring & Reliability: Experience with monitoring stacks and implementing SLOs. - Communication & Leadership: Clear communicator with experience in incident management.,
