Senior Engineer - Wastewater Modeler.

Role Overview: At Jacobs, we are seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeler to join our team and support wastewater network projects. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently, ensuring technical excellence, and best practices in wastewater network solutions. Your role will involve model build and verification, system performance analysis, design improvements, and providing technical guidance to junior staff. Key Responsibilities: - Work with teams to deliver projects within specified timeframes and budgets, exceeding client expectations. - Build and verify models, analyze system performance, and design enhancements to the wastewater network. - Develop engineering solutions to address sewer flooding and unsatisfactory overflows. - Guide and support junior modeling staff. - Plan and review asset and flow surveys, as well as field investigations. - Drive health and safety practices in project execution. - Communicate effectively with colleagues, engineers, subcontractors, and clients. - Prepare cost estimates for modeling, design, and construction. - Support project managers in delivering technical solutions effectively. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of a Civil Engineering Degree or a relevant similar Degree. - 4-8 years of experience in wastewater modeling. - Proficiency in using GIS tools such as MapInfo and ArcGIS. - Experience in wastewater modeling software like InfoNet, InfoWorks CS/ICM. - Ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical guidance. - Demonstrated capability in designing wastewater schemes, pumping systems, and treatment facilities.
