Senior Engineer- Security ( Firewall & Switching)

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with expertise in firewalls, intrusion prevention, and network infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles, hands-on technical skills in firewall and network device configuration, and proven experience in incident/problem management in a 24x7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Well versed with Security skills (Checkpoint & cisco FTD  Firewalls ,IPS).

• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols like, Advance persistent threats,

• Experience in implementation and management of complex and critical security controls.

• Hands on experience on NAT configuration on firewall.

• Ability to convert and review firewall policies.

• Hands on experience on nexus switches (3k,7k,9K) VDC, VPC, Port-channel

• Hands on experience on Load balancer.

• Knowledge on Routing and Switching to perform end to end route check.

• Monitoring of the Critical Parameters for the Network devices like Interface Status Bandwidth Utilization Resource utilizations Link Status.

• Incident& Problem Management - Tracking and Co-ordination of all incidents / problems till resolution Identification of probable causes of failures in the WAN environment Recommend on the possible solution / workaround to address the probable causes of failure. Performing router, switch configuration.

• Good communication and presenting skills.

• Strong stakeholder engagement / Client Relationship Management

• Very good attitude, good listener and adapter

• Motivated and proactive and ready to take more challenges.

• Knowledge of ITIL concepts.

• Relevant and proven record of accomplishment in technical, highly innovative environments.

• Must have ability to support flexible schedule in support of 7x24 operations.
