Job Description

As a Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA, your role involves providing a managed service to clients to ensure the continuous operation of their IT infrastructure and systems. Through proactive monitoring, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems, you play a crucial role in restoring service to clients. Your primary objective is to review client requests or tickets, applying your technical knowledge to resolve them within the agreed service level agreement (SLA). You focus on second-line support for incidents and requests across multiple technology domains like Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively monitoring work queues. - Hands-on experience in troubleshooting various devices. - Proficiency in routing and switching. - Experience with FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls. - Resolving all incidents/requests in a timely manner within the SLA. - Updating tickets with resolution tasks performed. - Identifying, investigating, and analyzing issues and errors promptly. - Communicating with other teams and clients for support extension. - Executing changes with risk identification and mitigation plans. - Following the shift handover process and escalating critical tasks. - Collaborating with automation teams for task optimization. - Working with various resolver groups like Service Provider, TAC, etc. - Providing assistance to L1 Security Engineers for initial triage or troubleshooting. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Computing. - Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or PCNSE are beneficial. - Certifications in Cisco Routing and Switching, FortiGate firewall, and Palo Alto firewall are required.
