Senior Engineer I/II MEP Mechanical (HVAC)

As an experienced Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading HVAC design and MEP coordination for projects at Walter P Moore. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring high-quality and timely project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Lead HVAC design and MEP coordination throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to GFC stages. - Conduct Cooling Load calculations, Ventilation calculations, and sizing of HVAC systems, including Basement car parking, pressurization, smoke extract, Mechanical plant rooms, Kitchen & Toilet exhaust systems. - Collaborate effectively with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment. - Ensure compliance with EC norms, MOEF, NBC 2016, IS codes, ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards, and sustainable HVAC design criteria. - Drive sustainable HVAC solutions and manage cost estimation effectively. - Review and approve contractor shop drawings and as-built documentation. - Conduct site inspections, approve material submittals, and oversee system commissioning. - Provide guidance to project teams during mock-ups, sample flats, and final handover processes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - 8-10 years of experience in HVAC design and MEP coordination in the real estate/construction industry. - 4-6 years of experience with design consultants and 2-4 years in project execution. - Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of HAP, IESVE, Revit MEP-HVAC is advantageous. - Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation, smoke management, and mechanical room design. - Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
