Senior Engineer II - Java Full Stack

You will be responsible for developing high-quality applications and writing code on a daily basis as an Engineer II / Java Software Engineer. This role involves collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and other software engineers to create top-notch software using modern technologies and following an agile development process. Your duties will include debugging and troubleshooting technical issues, implementing unit testing, writing optimized Java code, utilizing frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, building and managing APIs, and ensuring application security by implementing best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in developing commercial software and a strong background in a SaaS delivery platform for a high-availability environment. You should also possess expertise in modern client-side single-page application development, Java, Spring, Hibernate, object-oriented programming, web services, service-oriented architectures, APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Additionally, you should be familiar with software engineering processes, testing frameworks like jUnit/Mockito, and CICD tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab. Collaboration with other engineers, testers, and product owners is essential for this role. Experience with jQuery/React, public cloud APIs and hosting, and knowledge of finance/accounting domains would be considered advantageous.
