Senior Engineer - BT HOST

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you play a crucial role in designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop software on various platforms for Qualcomm internal chipsets - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and document requirements and drive design - Resolve issues reported by internal test teams and customers - Actively participate in the development of new Bluetooth profiles for Qualcomm Bluetooth devices - Support existing features porting/integration and provide customer support and maintenance - Work with systems team to deliver quality software following established software development processes **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 3-6 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, etc. - Strong experience and proficiency in C++/Java programming for embedded platforms (1-3 years) - Good understanding of networking protocol stacks, especially Bluetooth, WLAN, or any networking protocol stack - Familiarity with mobile development is a plus - Experience working in real-time operating systems for at least 1 year - Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
