Senior Embedded System engineer

As an Embedded Systems Engineer at our company, you will be a key player in the design, development, and implementation of embedded systems for our cutting-edge robotics projects. Your role will involve providing technical leadership, collaborating with hardware engineers, and staying updated on the latest advancements in embedded systems technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to a team of embedded systems engineers. - Define technical direction for embedded systems projects to ensure alignment with overall robot functionalities. - Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using C, C++, and Assembly languages. - Implement RTOS concepts such as FreeRTOS and Embedded Linux. - Collaborate with hardware engineers on hardware design, circuit analysis, and interfacing. - Select and integrate electronic components, sensors, and actuators. - Utilize debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters for troubleshooting. - Develop and maintain communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB). - Implement version control systems (Git) for code management. - Write and execute comprehensive test plans for embedded systems. - Lead the design, development, and deployment of embedded systems projects. **Key Skills:** - Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and digital signal processors. - Familiarity with various embedded system architectures. - Proficiency in C, C++, and Assembly programming languages. - Experience with scripting languages like Python for test automation. - Hands-on experience with hardware design, circuit analysis, and interfacing. - Proficiency with IDEs (e.g., Arduino IDE, STMCubeIDE, VS Code). - Proficiency with PCB design software (e.g., KiCad). - Experience using debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters. - Understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB). - Knowledge of version control systems (Git). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers. - Exposure to various industry applications of embedded systems (e.g., automotive, healthcare, IoT). **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). *Location:* Technopark, Thiruvanathapuram *Experience:* 3 - 4 Years *Skills:* microcontrollers, microprocessors, embedded systems, C, C++, Arduino, PCB design, communication protocols, MATLAB (added advantage),
