Senior Embedded System engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Embedded Systems Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our robotics team at Technopark, Thiruvanathapuram. As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of embedded systems for our cutting-edge robots. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership to a team of embedded systems engineers, defining technical direction for projects, designing and maintaining embedded firmware using C, C++, and Assembly, implementing RTOS concepts such as FreeRTOS and Embedded Linux, collaborating with hardware engineers, selecting and integrating electronic components, sensors, and actuators, debugging using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, developing communication protocols, managing code using version control systems, writing and executing test plans, and staying updated on the latest technologies in embedded systems. Key skills required for this role include a strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and digital signal processors, familiarity with various embedded system architectures, proficiency in C, C++, and Assembly programming languages, experience with Python for test automation, hands-on experience with hardware design and circuit analysis, familiarity with electronic components, sensors, and actuators, proficiency with IDEs and PCB design software, experience with debugging tools, knowledge of communication protocols, understanding of version control systems, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, experience in mentoring junior engineers, and exposure to various industry applications of embedded systems. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus) and have 3-4 years of relevant experience.
