Senior Embedded / WLAN Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and debug

  WLAN device drivers and firmware

  using

  Embedded C/C++

  on

  Linux/RTOS

  platforms.
• Develop and optimize

  Wi-Fi protocol stack functionality

  in compliance with

  IEEE 802.11 standards

  (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
• Perform

  debugging, root cause analysis

  , and issue resolution for complex wireless connectivity and performance-related problems.
• Work closely with

  hardware teams

  for device bring-up, board support, hardwaresoftware integration, and validation.
• Contribute to

  architecture and feature design

  for advanced wireless technologies such as

  MU-MIMO, OFDMA, WPA3

  , etc.
• Analyze performance metrics and enhance throughput, latency, and reliability of WLAN solutions.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in

  Embedded C and C++ programming

  .
• Extensive experience with

  Linux Kernel internals

  and

  WLAN device driver development

  .
• Solid understanding of

  wireless networking concepts

  , protocols, and

  TCP/IP stack

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  low-level communication protocols

  such as

  I2C, SPI, and UART

  .
• Proficiency with

  debugging and diagnostic tools

  including

  JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes

  , and

  logic analyzers

  .
• Experience using

  network protocol analyzers/sniffers

  such as

  Wireshark

  .
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and handle complex system-level debugging.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  in

  Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering

  , or a related field.
