As an Electrical Designer, your role involves preparing detailed electrical design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and E3D. You will be responsible for modeling and coordinating electrical systems, such as cable trays, lighting, earthing, and equipment layouts in E3D. Additionally, you will review and manage clash detections using Navisworks, ensuring designs meet project requirements and industry standards. Your designs must comply with Oil and Gas project specifications and international standards. Supporting the preparation of material take-offs, cable schedules, and equipment lists, you will also modify and update drawings based on client and engineer feedback. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and E3D. - Model and coordinate electrical systems, including cable trays, lighting, earthing, and equipment layouts, in E3D. - Review and manage clash detections using Navisworks. - Collaborate with engineering teams to develop designs that meet project requirements and industry standards. - Ensure designs are compliant with Oil and Gas project specifications and international standards. - Support the preparation of material take-offs, cable schedules, and equipment lists. - Modify and update drawings based on client and engineer feedback. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in E3D and AutoCAD (hands-on experience is a must). - Working knowledge of Navisworks for model reviews and clash checking. - Strong understanding of electrical design principles in Oil and Gas projects. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company prefers candidates with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 710 years of relevant experience, particularly in the Oil and Gas sector. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, attention to detail, and the capacity to produce high-quality design deliverables are essential. You should also be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Please note that immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred. Candidates must also be available for an in-person (Face-to-Face) interview in Chennai.
